Jan.- May trade between Iran, U.S. reaches $78.8m

TEHRAN- Trade between Iran and U.S. from January to May 2018 reached $78.8 million increasing 20 percent from $65.3 million in the same time span in the preceding year, according to the latest report of American Statistical Association (ASA).

U.S. exports to Iran in this period increased by 60 percent reaching $50.2 million from $31.2 million in the same time of 2017, Tasnim news agency reported on Monday.   
American imports of Iranian goods declined 16 percent to $28.6 million from its previous level of $34.1 million in the same period in 2017.
